I am wondering if someone can clarify what this means.
A friend of mine sent me a link of my blog listing in Alexa and the numbers are quite confusing. I realize for some odd reason alot of people come to the site, not many are posting though.
Confusing, ain’t it?
I know I came thousands of miles to learn slang. Not a good sign. My mother is reaching through the lines right now trying to slap the words from my mouth.
I’ll try this way first.
Click on it to make it larger.
If someone could explain what that means I would appreciate it. Here is the link also.

The first number is your ranking compared to the thousands of other websites being listed with Alexa (you are #546,244).
The next numbers shows how many of your web sites pages have been viewed by people. Since you just started your site, this number is going to be very low. (It is saying that only 1 page has been viewed).
Below that it tells you that a majority of your visitors are from the United States.
Below that is your website ranking compared to other countries. These numbers are not the number of people visiting your site.

Thanks, I’m curious since Im so new and all my posts used to be on one page could that be the explanation as to the 1.2 page views? Also, in the scheme of things is 546k a high or low number?
Thanks,
Fatima

One more thing:
Look into using Site Meter, www.sitemeter.com, as it tracks all your users very efficiently. Not to mention, most major blog sites rely on it just as much as the “little guys” do. It’s that good.

I had it, but was getting so many errors and things werent loading up correctly that I started stripping things out. I know use Wassup which is a widget that appears on my dashboard and does the same sort of thing. I would love to have sitemap back though. Really liked it. I have brush up some more on my HTML to do it right though.
